What We Offer
MONTHLY TEAM INSTRUCTION
BATRS offers monthly team instruction for ages 9U-14U. Many of our teams began as local all-star teams who have chosen to continue to play together, throughout the year, under the guidance of our professional coaching staff to continue their baseball development through advanced instruction. In addition, we also hold open tryouts for top local players who are interested in joining a BATRS team. Our travel ball teams typically practice 2x per week and play double headers every other Sunday in addition to entering local tournaments on off weekends 2-3 times per season. BATRS fields teams in the Spring and Fall seasons as well as tournament teams during the summer. If you have a player or team who is interested in joining BATRS, please fill out a contact form
and we'll arrange for a free visit to a BATRS workout or a phone consultation.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Whether it's hitting, fielding or pitching, BATRS expert coaches can help take your player to the next level with our private coaching lessons. Customized private coaching based on your player's current skill level, strengths and weaknesses, is the quickest and most effective path to honing and improving the skills of your player. Private coaching sessions provide your player with the full attention of a professional coach to help identify issues with physical technique, and the repetitions necessary to build new habits.

COACHING CONSULTATION
For leagues and coaches, Denny Barrett will offer hour-long sessions on how to run a practice, instructional drills and game day preparation.
ADVANCED SKILLS CLINICS
BATRS advanced skills clinics are a favorite among our coaching staff and players. We've found that providing advanced instruction to a small group of players (typically 10) at one specific set of skills allows us to break the game down into it's smallest parts and to provide in depth instruction and high repetitions in order to build up to a consistent high level of performance. Our skills clinics typically run from 1.5 to 2 hours and we see some of our greatest improvements in the players who attend them. Some of the clinics we offer are advanced infielding, advanced outfielding, advancing pitching and advanced batting. If you're interested in joining an advanced clinic or would like to set one up for your team or group, fill out an interest form to join our mailing list or to set up a consultation.
SUMMER ADVANCED WORKOUT PROGRAM
This summer, Batrs is offering an advanced workout program that will be hosted at Sherman Oaks Little League. The program will apply to ages 8-14.
Session 1 is June 24-26 9am to 12pm
Session 2 is July 8-10 9am to 12pm
Session 3 is July 15-17 9am to 12pm
Cost is $300/week or $125/day
Come join the program to advance your defense and hitting skills. Denny Barrett along with high school and college coaches will be teaching the program. Please email your players information along with which sessions they would like to attend. [email protected]
